Kindergarten Supply List

2nd Grade Supply List

  1. Pencils and erasers (throughout the year you need to supply your child with pencils and erasers)

  2. One (1) hand held small pencil sharpener

  4. One (1) pack of notebook paper (wide ruled)

  5. Four (4) notebooks

  6. Three (3) folders

  7. Two (2) rolls of paper towels (More may be needed throughout the school year)

  8. Two (2) box of tissues (More may be needed throughout the school year)

  9. One (1) container of wipes (for cleaning hands)

  10. One (1) Backpack (no wheels per the Parent/Student Handbook)

  11. NO Toys of any kind!! Not even for recess. All toys will be confiscated and not returned!

 

3rd Grade Supply List

  1. Four (4) Spiral Notebooks - red, green, yellow and blue

  2. Six (6) Two-pocket folders - yellow, red, green, orange, blue and white If you cannot find the exact colors, you may substitute colors - but NO DUPLICATE colors

  3. One (1) pack of filler notebook paper - WIDE RULED (not in a tear-out notebook)

  4. Four (4) #2 Pencils (PLEASE PUT NAME ON EACH)

  5. One (1) Elmer's Glue Sticks

  6. One (1) Pair of Scissors  - sturdy enough to cut folded paper

  7. One (1) Colored Pencils (12-count is good) or One (1) Box of Crayola Crayons

  8. One (1) Pencil Bag and One (1) small supply box

  9. Bookbag/Backpack - NO WHEELS (per the Parent/Student Handbook)

  10. Two (2) Box of Tissues

  11. Two (2) Rolls of Paper Towels

  12. One (1) Roll/Container of Wipes (for cleaning hands)

Assignment Notebooks will be given to student by the school.  Please do not buy your child a separate planner.

4th Grade Supply List

  1. A Belt - Students must wear a belt with uniform pants and shorts.
     

  2. Erasable Pens - Blue or Black Only.  4 or 5 of the erasable type, since the 4th graders are just learning to use a pen.  After several months, any type is fine, but only blue or black ink.
     

  3. Crayons - One (1) box of 15 is fine.  Please buy Crayola, do not buy Roseart.
     

  4. Markers - One (1) box of Crayola, round-tipped
     

  5. Colored Pencils - One (1) box of 12 or more colors; Crayola or Pentel
     

  6. Glue - Elmer's (white only)
     

  7. Pencil Bag - Zipper Type, for pencils and pens, kept in desk and when changing classes
     

  8. Scissors - Pointy tip, sturdy enough to cut folded paper.
     

  9. Six (6) 2-pocket folders - Without clasps inside; Yellow for homework, Red for math, Black for Science, Green for Reading/LA, Blue for Social Studies and Purple for Religion.
     

  10. Five (5) Spiral Notebooks - At least 75 pages.  Do not buy the kind with sections.  Red for math, Black for Science, Green for Reading/LA, Blue for Social Studies and Purple for Religion.
     

  11. Bookbag - A backpack is best - ROOMY.  Do not buy the kind with wheels, as your child will not be able to use it (per the Student Handbook)
     

  12. Homework Assignment Book  - This will be provided by the school.  Please do not buy one, as we will all use the same kind.
     

  13. Kleenex - Two (2) large boxes (any brand) 175 count, so everyone brings the same amount.
     

  14. Wipes - Two (2) boxes or refill packs of Quilted Northern, Cottonelle or a similar brand.  We use a lot of them for Breakfast, before lunch, projects, They're great!!
     

  15. Paper Towels - Two (2) rolls

5th Grade Supply List

 

  1. Eight (8) two pocket folders (for Reading, Language Arts, Math, Geography, Science, Social Studies, Health and Religion)

  2. Five (5) notebooks (for Math, Geography, Science, Social Studies, Religion)

  3. Two (2) Steno Notebooks (for Journal Writing)

  4. Two (2) packs of loose leaf paper, wide ruled (for turning in class work and homework)

  5. One (1) box of crayons or markers

  6. One (1) pack of Black or Blue Pens

  7. Four (4) Red Pens

  8. Two (2) 12-pack of pencils

  9. One (1) pair of scissors – strong enough to cut through folded construction paper

  10. One (1) pack of 3" x 5" index cards

  11. One (1) pencil box

  12. One (1) small pencil sharpener

  13. Two (2) large box of tissues (More may be needed throughout the school year)

  14. Two (2) rolls of paper towels (Greatly Appreciated)

  15. One (1) box of disinfectant wipes (Greatly Appreciated)

Please do not send large binders or TrapperKeepers; we are limited on space in the classroom.  There are certain supplies that we will need during the school year.  I will send home a note to let everyone know ahead of time.  Extra supplies should be kept at home.  The kids lose them and play with them.  Volunteers are always welcome.

6th, 7th and 8th Grade Supply List

  1. Good News Bible with Deutrocanonicals and Apocrypha –this translation is required for class and sells for $17 at the school.  All students MUST HAVE their own personal Bible (or have ordered it) by 8-29-09.
     
  2. USB Flash Drive/Jump Drive - At least 256 MB
     
  3. 1½ inch Binder for Math
     
  4. Filler Paper (lots—we get really busy) - get the wider lines—the narrow lines make the work cramped and difficult to read.  Must not be torn from notebooks; NO RAGGED EDGES
     
  5. 5 one subject spiral notebooks Green for English/Language Arts, Blue for Math, Orange for Religion, Red for Science and Yellow for Social Studies.  DO NOT bring extra notebooks and expect to tear our paper and hand in work on paper with ragged edges.  This WILL NOT be accepted.
     
  6. Pens - blue and black ink only for assignments (get lots—the multi-packets provide savings!) All assignments are to be written in pen—except puzzles, crosswords, diagrams, and math—otherwise expect to use pen!!!  If you make lots of mistakes—get erasable pens!!).  Students MUST have 2 pens in their possession at ALL TIMES!!
     
  7. Red Pens - at least 2
     
  8. Pencils - multi-pack is useful—with eraser
     
  9. Colored pencils - box of 8 is sufficient.
     
  10. Highlighters - get a multi pack with different colors—at least 4
     
  11. Markers - both wide and narrow points -  NO CRAYONS
     
  12. 5 Two-Pocket Folders - Green for English/Language Arts, Blue for Math, Orange for Religion, Red for Science and Yellow for Social Studies.
     
  13. Index Cards (3 x 5) - used for social studies; at least 300
     
  14. Scissors  - needs to be able to cut folded construction paper
     
  15. Pencil bag or box - something to keep your stuff from rolling around
     
  16. Backpack - one that fits into cubby—wheeled ones are useless—have to be carried up steps –don’t fit in  the cubicle AND they are not allowed according to the Parent/Student Handbook
     
  17. 2 large sized boxes of tissues (at least 200 count) - these will be shared and the school will no longer be able to provide them
