LABEL EVERYTHING: Please write your child's name on EVERYTHING. Your child's items look like everyone else's. Things get lost, misplaced or accidentally picked up by someone else. Especially clothing: Gym clothes, sweaters, jackets, etc. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO LABEL ALL OF YOUR CHILD'S ITEMS!!

4th Grade Supply List
A Belt - Students must wear a belt with uniform pants and shorts.
Pencils - Standard No. 2 pencils. Have at least 4 at all times, extras are great!!
Erasable Pens - Blue or Black Only. 4 or 5 of the erasable type, since the 4th graders are just learning to use a pen. After several months, any type is fine, but only blue or black ink.
Crayons - One (1) box of 15 is fine. Please buy Crayola, do not by Roseart.
Markers - One (1) box of Crayola, round-tipped
Glue - Elmer's (white only)
Pencil Bag - Zipper Type, for pencils and pens, kept in desk
Scissors - Pointy tip, sturdy enough to cut folded paper.
Filler Notebook Paper - Two (2) packs to start the school year. Please get the WIDE RULE (not in a tear-out notebook). Replenish as needed.
Seven (7) 2-pocket folders - No clasps inside
Three (3) Spiral Notebooks - At least 75 pages. Do not buy the kind with sections
Bookbag - A backpack is best - ROOMY. Do not buy the kind with wheels, as your child will not be able to use it (per the Student Handbook)
Homework Assignment Book - This will be provided by the school. Please do not buy one, as we will all use the same kind.
Kleenex - Two (2) large boxes (any brand) 175 count, so everyone brings the same amount.
Wipes - One (1) box or refill pack of Quilted Northern, Cottonelle or a similar brand. We use a lot of them for Breakfast, before lunch, projects, They're great!!
Paper Towels - One (1) roll

5th Grade Supply List
Please do not send large binders or TrapperKeepers; we are limited on space in the classroom. There are certain supplies that we will need during the school year. I will send home a note to let everyone know ahead of time. Extra supplies should be kept at home. The kids lose them and play with them. Volunteers are always welcome.
Eight (8) two pocket folders (for Reading, Language Arts, Math, Geography, Science, Social Studies, Health and Religion)

6th, 7th and 8th Grade Supply List
- Good News Bible with Deutrocanonicals and Apocrypha –this translation is required for class and sells for $17 at the school. All students MUST HAVE their own personal Bible (or have ordered it) by 8-29-08.
- USB Flash Drive/Jump Drive - At least 256 MB
- 3 Subject Notebook (for Math)
- 1½ inch Binder
- Filler Paper (lots—we get really busy) - get the wider lines—the narrow lines make the work cramped and difficult to read. Must not be torn from notebooks; NO RAGGED EDGES
- 5 one subject spiral notebooks - 2 Social Studies, 2 Religion (7th/8th grade) and 1 Science.
- Pens - blue and black ink only for assignments (get lots—the multi-packets provide savings!) All assignments are to be written in pen—except puzzles, crosswords, diagrams, and math—otherwise expect to use pen!!! If you make lots of mistakes—get erasable pens!!). Students MUST have 2 pens in their possession at ALL TIMES!!
8. Red Pen or pencil - at least 2
- Pencils - multi-pack is useful—with eraser
- Colored pencils - box of 8 is sufficient.
- Highlighters - get a multi pack with different colors—at least 4
- Markers - both wide and narrow points
- NO CRAYONS
- Pocket Folders - we would like for you to get 10 two pocket folders or the expandable multi-pocket (8) plastic folders—much more durable, and keep things all in one place so that students can become more organized and not lose things (especially when changing classes).
- Index Cards (3 x 5) - used for social studies; at least 300
- Scissors
- Pencil bag or box - something to keep your stuff from rolling around
- Post-it Flags - for marking books, spirals and stenos, etc.
- Backpack - one that fits into cubby—wheeled ones are useless—have to be carried up steps –don’t fit in the cubicle AND they are not allowed according to the Parent/Student Handbook
- 2 large sized boxes of tissues (at least 200 count) - these will be shared and the school will no longer be able to provide them
