Morning Prayer
Loving, Creator God,
We the Community of St. Francis deSales hope to live in homes,
communities and a world that is peaceful.
Help us to be successful in our learning, in our behavior and to be respectful.
As disciples of Jesus, with Mary and St. Francis deSales as our
models, we hope to become the people you want us to be
Amen

Dismissal Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the gifts of this day, forgive us if we have hurt anyone.
Also, guide and protect us as we make our way home, and bring
us back safely tomorrow.
Amen

Our Father
Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever.
Amen.

A Prayer for the Family and the Community
Jesus,
our brother and our Lord,
you have come to save us
because God loves us with a deep and unending love.
You have given us Mary, your mother,
to be our mother too,
and invite us to follow her example.
On earth she was a woman of faith and prayer,
of obedience to God's will,
always ready to serve in any way.
In heaven she continues to pray for us,
so that we may serve God faithfully in our daily living.

Jesus,
help us to ponder in our hearts
over the many ways you show your love in our lives,
and lead us to walk with your mother
as we follow you each day.

Jesus, we praise you,
for you are our Lord and our God
for ever and ever.

Thanksgiving for Family and Friends
Blessed are You, loving Father,
For all your gifts to us.
Blessed are You for giving us family and friends
To be with us in times of joy and sorrow,
To help us in days of need,
And to rejoice with us in moments of celebration..

Father,
We praise You for Your Son Jesus,
Who knew the happiness of family and friends,
And in the love of Your Holy Spirit.
Blessed are you for ever and ever.

Amen.

Prayer for Peace
Almighty God,
from whom all thoughts of truth and peace proceed,
kindle in the hearts of all men the true love of peace,
and guide with Your pure and peaceable wisdom
those who make decisions for the nations of the earth;
that in tranquility Your kingdom may go forward,
till the earth be filled with the knowledge of Your love;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
