Question:  What conditions are best for growing bread mold?

                                Wet or Dry;   Darkness or Light

Hypothesis:

Experiment/Activity

1.  Place one piece of bread in a zip-lock bag and place it in a dark location.

2.  Place one piece of bread in a zip-lock bag and place it in a lighted location.

3.  Using an Eye-dropper, dampen a piece of bread and place it in a lighted location.

4.  Using an Eye-dropper, dampen a piece of bread and place it in a dark location.

Conclusion

The best conditions for growing bread mold is a damp, dark environment.

My hypothesis was wrong.  I thought the best conditions would be a dry, light environment.

In the first environment (dry/light) we observed very little mold growth.
