If you are looking for help in Math, have internet access, and your child is not in a tutoring program…go to aaamath.com, click on the grade (5), then click on the skill. It’s a great website to reinforce skills your child has been taught, and it’s fun, too! Or…try mathisfun.com

I do not accept late assignments, unless it is due to an excused absence.

1) Homework is expected to be completed in its entirety and with maximum effort

2) Late assignments are not accepted, unless it is due to excused absence

3) Students must follow all school rules noted in the handbook at all times

4) Students must follow all classroom rules stated on the handout given to students (and sent home to parents/guardians for reference purposes) at all times

5) A “0” noted for any assignment or test means that was either the actual score for the assignment or test, or the assignment was not completed.

LABEL EVERYTHING: Please write your child’s name on EVERYTHING.  Your child’s items look just like everyone else’s.  Things get lost, misplaced or accidentally picked up by someone else, especially clothing: Gym clothes, sweaters, jackets, etc.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY: Large binders or Trapper Keepers; we are limited on space in the classroom.  There are certain supplies that we will need during the school year.  I will send home a note to let everyone know ahead of time.  Extra supplies should be kept at home.  The kids lose them and play with them.  Volunteers are always welcome.
